Mail Account Update

Sunday morning, the UISO discovered a new phishing attack targeted toward Loyola. The message, captured below, attempted to direct receipients to a login page to verify their mail account. The UISO promptly blocked the destination page to prevent account compromise.


Boston Marathon Bombings SPAM

As our hearts and prayers go out to the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings we must remain viligent to the fact that there are people out there that want to use this tragedy to take advantage of our emotions and curiosity with the aim of infecting our computers or stealing our personal information.  If you receive an unsolicited e-mail about the tragedy please be extra careful to not click on any of the links.
