Title/s: Communication Director, Health Sciences Division
Megan Troppito is the communication director at the Loyola University Chicago Health Sciences Division. In this role, she supports all aspects of marketing and communication for the University's Health Sciences Division, which includes the Stritch School of Medicine and Niehoff School of Nursing.
Previously, Megan served on Loyola's media relations and internal communication team. She oversaw strategy for the official University social media accounts, executed proactive media relations initiatives, and assisted with crisis communication. Prior to Loyola, Megan worked at a boutique public relations firm in Oak Park, Illinois serving clients in the gourmet food, publishing, and nonprofit industries. In this role, she managed several client accounts, served as the chief writer and editor for the agency, and placed clients in national outlets such as USA Today and Food Network.
Megan earned her BA in Communication Arts and Sciences from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, where she currently serves as the alumni member of the Media Board providing guidance to the student-run newspaper. She is also currently pursuing her MBA from Loyola's Quinlan School of Business.
