Brendan Shea serves as Director of Communication for the Quinlan School of Business.
Brendan provides focused attention, brand alignment, and marketing and communication support for Quinlan School of Business through UMC various functions (web, PR, internal communications, advancement communications, design, brand marketing, media buying, etc.).
A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Brendan majored in news-editorial writing with a minor in Spanish. Upon graduating, he was awarded the prestigious Dow Jones Newspaper Fund editing internship, where he received training from editors at the New York Times,Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post, before being placed at the News-Times in Danbury, Conn. He also has worked as an editorial assistant for Chicago magazine and, prior to Loyola, as a copy editor for Leo Burnett on all major U.S. and international accounts.
A native of St. Louis, Brendan attended De Smet Jesuit High School and is proud to be working for an institution he so strongly believes in.
