In 2006, Paul Colino joined University Marketing and Communication as marketing manager. In this role, Paul works in coordination with UMC’s brand director to create and implement brand-marketing initiatives that give Loyola a strong identity in the market place. In addition to those responsibilities, he also oversees the creative workflow management of marketing collateral for several of Loyola’s schools, departments, and programs.
Before transitioning into the world of higher education, Paul worked in advertising as senior copywriter for 10 years. During that time, Paul worked for some of the ad world’s biggest agencies, including Wunderman, Frankel, and Draftfcb. Miller Brewing Co., McDonald’s, Best Buy, State Farm Insurance, Kodak, S.C. Johnson, and the U.S. Postal Service were a few of his well-known clients.
Paul earned his bachelor’s (’94) and master’s degrees (’96) in communication studies from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
