As Web designer for University Marketing and Communication, Stephen Ravenscraft is responsible for maintaining and evolving the Loyola Web site and supporting University/client strategies for student recruitment, fundraising, and other key business goals through the use of the Web and other online technologies.
A visual journalist at the Chicago Tribune for more than 16 years, Stephen served as manager of multimedia graphics and design, developing sophisticated user interfaces and award-winning multi-level interactive presentations. He also served as a senior explanatory journalist for seven years at the Tribune, executing an array of stories in graphic form, and as senior designer/art director, where he focused on identity, section design, and redesign efforts for many feature sections of the Chicago Tribune.
As an accomplished member of the National Watercolor Society, Stephen has created award-winning illustrations and paintings for many publications and private collections.
Stephen graduated from the American Academy of Art, Chicago, and also studied under renowned watercolorist Irving Shapiro.
