First-Year Experience

The Office of First-Year Experience helps students connect to many University resources (and to each other) as soon as they arrive on campus.

Loyola is committed to enhancing the college experience for our students.

The Office of First-Year Experience is dedicated to the success of our freshmen and transfer students from the time they enter Loyola through graduation.

When you begin Loyola as a college freshman, you can take advantage of various programs and resources. The Office of First-Year Experience coordinates Discover Loyola, our first-year student orientation program. Freshmen can also participate in Learning Communities, Loyola Seminar courses, and other leadership opportunities. Additional support is available for transfer students and for first-generation college students.
