Get Your College Career Off to a Great Start!

At Loyola, we want you to make the most out of your college career. That's why we encourage you to participate in one of our college Learning Communities.

College Learning Communities are groups of first-year students who share a common interest, live in the same residence hall, and take a few classes together. Students join Learning Communities to meet people and feel more connected to college life. Learning Communities are also a great way to get to know professors outside of class by participating in special events and activities designed exclusively for Learning Community students.

Joining a Learning Community will help you develop closer connections with your classmates and feel at home here more quickly. College Learning Communities also make it easy for you to study and navigate classes together with your peers, which will enhance your academic abilities and improve your grades.

Learning Communities are open to students of all majors and are centered around different themes. For a list of current Learning Communities and more information on how to apply, please visit the Learning Community website.
