Transfer students are considered for admission and merit-based scholarship consideration based on previous academic coursework. Transfer applicants are required to submit the online application and official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities attended. A student who has less than 20 college credits is asked to submit an official high school transcript or official GED results, as well as official ACT or SAT scores.
International students whose native language is not English, and/or students whose primary language of instruction is not English, are required to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score. If you will require a visa to study in the United States, students are asked to complete the Declaration and Certification of Finances form and submit it with proof of financial resources showing their ability to cover expenses for your first year at Loyola.
If you are transferring from or have previously attended a non-U.S. university, Loyola requires a catalog match evaluation of your university transcript to determine the amount of credit you can transfer. Please send an official copy of your transcript and the Catalog Match Request Form to Educational Perspectives and request a catalog match to be sent to Loyola.
