The best way to find out Loyola is right for you is to visit us and see what campus life is like. Loyola offers many different campus options from which to choose. See below for what option works best for you.

Lake Shore Campus


Tours

With a current student as your guide, view the Lake Shore Campus academic facilities, including classrooms, the library, and our new Information Commons. You can also go to the student union, and enjoy breathtaking lake views.

  • Location: Tours depart from the Sullivan Center for Student Services
  • Days/times available: Most Mondays through Saturdays. Tours last 75 minutes.

Individual Appointments 

Meet with a transfer admission counselor to discuss your needs and academic goals, and learn about the academic programs offered by Loyola, our transfer credit policies, the application process, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities. Individual meetings are offered by appointment from Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. 11 a.m. 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.  

  • Location: Sullivan Center for Student Services
  • Days/times available:   Monday-Friday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.

Note: Degree audits, course registration and advising services take place at a Transfer Orientation, a day-long program for all new transfer students that takes place just prior to the start of each semester.  Transfer orientation is exclusively for admitted students who have accepted their admission offer by submitting an enrollment deposit.

 

On-Campus Info Session

Come to campus and attend a group presentation about the transfer admission and enrollment process; and learn about your next steps and scholarship opportunities.  You will have the option to tour campus, talk with transfer staff, and find out how you can about make the transition to become a Loyola student and complete your degree.

Online Information Session

Transfer students who are unable to schedule an on-campus visit are encouraged to attend an online information session before or after applying to the University.   The session will contain information on transfer admission and enrollment process, transfer credit policies, resources and scholarship opportunities.

Water Tower Campus

 

Tours & Individual Appointments

Visit academic facilities, the Terry Student Center, and more at the Water Tower Campus. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a view of a residence hall room on this tour.

  • Location: Tours depart from the Undergraduate Admission Office, located on the 8th floor of Lewis Towers.

Individual appointments with a transfer admission counselor are also offered to transfer students visiting the Water Tower Campus.

Visiting Both the Lake Shore and Water Tower Campus 

 

We encourage you to visit both campuses, especially if your areas of interest also include majors that are at located downtown: Schools of Education, Social Work, Business Administration, and Communication, as well as majors in computer science and criminal justice. We have Loyola shuttle passes available in the Undergraduate Admission Office for our visiting students and families.
