Parking Information   

Visitors have two parking options at the Lake Shore Campus:

• Simpson Lot located at the corner of Sheridan Road and Kenmore Avenue. Note: The entrance to this lot is located off of Kenmore Avenue (a one-way street heading north). You MUST have your parking tag from your confirmation email to leave in your front windshield to park here. 
• Parking Structure (P on the map) located at the corner of Sheridan Road and Winthrop Avenue (entrance to this structure is off the campus drive, accessed from the light at Sheridan Road and Kenmore Avenue).

The directions below will take you to the Simpson Lot. If you park in the Parking Structure, please pull a parking ticket at the entrance and drive through the gate. When you check in at the Undergraduate Admission Office, ask about validating your ticket. If you encounter problems or have questions, please stop by the Welcome Center on the first floor of the Parking Structure for assistance.

The Undergraduate Admission Office is located in the Sullivan Center for Student Services, 6339 N. Sheridan Road, on the south end of campus along the lake. The office is located on the first floor of the building. Please allow enough time to park and walk to our office (approximately 10 minutes).

Open House Parking for October 17, November 7, and November 14

For our Saturday Open Houses, please park in the Main Parking Structure. The gates will be open and parking is complimentary until 5 p.m.   

Here are some driving directions to our Lake Shore Campus if you are coming from the surrounding Chicago area. You can also use Google Maps or MapQuest to get directions to Loyola. If you plan to take public transportation, use the CTA Trip Planner. Our Lake Shore Campus is located at 6525 N. Sheridan Road, and our Water Tower Campus is located at 820 N. Michigan Avenue.

From O'Hare Airport

Take I-190 East to Chicago. Merge onto I-90 East to Chicago. Take I-90 East to the Lawrence Avenue exit. Take a left on Lawrence going east until you reach Sheridan Road. Turn left onto Sheridan Road and continue until you reach Winthrop Avenue. Turn left on Winthrop Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn left on Rosemont Avenue. Turn left again onto Kenmore Avenue at the first stop sign. The Simpson Lot entrance is located on the left just before Sheridan Road. Once parked, you can follow the directional signs to the Undergraduate Admission Office in the Sullivan Center for Student Services.

From Midway Airport
Take Cicero Avenue north until you reach I-55. Take the exit for I-55 North into downtown Chicago. Take the Lake Shore Drive exit; continue on Lake Shore Drive going north until you reach Sheridan Road where Lake Shore Drive ends. Turn right onto Sheridan Road and continue to Winthrop Avenue. Turn left on Winthrop Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn left on Rosemont Avenue. Turn left again onto Kenmore Avenue at the first stop sign. The Simpson Lot entrance is located on the left just before Sheridan Road. Once parked, you can follow the directional signs to the Undergraduate Admission Office in the Sullivan Center for Student Services.

From I-80, I-55 and the Southwest
Take the exit for I-55 North into downtown Chicago. Take the Lake Shore Drive exit; continue on Lake Shore Drive going north until you reach Sheridan Road where Lake Shore Drive ends. Turn right onto Sheridan Road and continue to Winthrop Avenue. Turn left on Winthrop Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn left on Rosemont Avenue. Turn left again onto Kenmore Avenue at the first stop sign. The Simpson Lot entrance is located on the left just before Sheridan Road. Once parked, you can follow the directional signs to the Undergraduate Admission Office in the Sullivan Center for Student Services.

From I-88 and the West

Take I-88 East to Chicago. Take the exit for I-294 West north to Wisconsin. Take the exit for I-90 East to Chicago. Take I-90 east to the Lawrence Avenue Exit. Take a left on Lawrence going east until you reach Sheridan Road. Turn left onto Sheridan Road and continue until you reach Winthrop Avenue. Turn left on Winthrop Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn left on Rosemont Avenue. Turn left again onto Kenmore Avenue at the first stop sign. The Simpson Lot entrance is located on the left just before Sheridan Road. Once parked, you can follow the directional signs to the Undergraduate Admission Office in the Sullivan Center for Student Services.

From I-94 and the South/Southeast
Please note that the southern section of the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) through the city will be under construction and will cause delays. Allow extra travel time, especially during morning and afternoon rush hour times. Please follow the detour signs and exit onto Stony Island Drive from the Chicago Skyway. Take the exit for I-55 North into downtown Chicago. Take the Lake Shore Drive exit; continue on Lake Shore Drive going north until you reach Sheridan Road where Lake Shore Drive ends. Turn right onto Sheridan Road and continue to Winthrop Avenue. Turn left on Winthrop Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn left on Rosemont Avenue. Turn left again onto Kenmore Avenue at the first stop sign. The Simpson Lot entrance is located on the left just before Sheridan Road. Once parked, you can follow the directional signs to the undergraduate Admission Office in the Sullivan Center for Student Services.

From I-94 and the North
Take I-94 East south to Chicago. Take the exit for Touhy Avenue East. To stay on Touhy, bear right once you cross Ridge Road, continue on Touhy Avenue until you reach Sheridan Road. Take a right on Sheridan Road. Continue on Sheridan Road to the Devon/Broadway/Sheridan intersection and turn left. Turn right on Winthrop Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn left on Rosemont Avenue. Turn left again onto Kenmore Avenue at the first stop sign. The Simpson Lot entrance is located on the left just before Sheridan Road. Once parked, you can follow the directional signs to the Admission Office in the Sullivan Center for Student Services.
