Veteran Admission

Information for Veterans

Loyola is supportive of those who have served our country and would like to start or continue their education. We are pleased to offer a streamlined admission application process for veterans. Our School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers the same expedited process for their programs, which are specifically designed for non-traditional and adult students.

  • We will make admission decisions based on unofficial documents during the application process (until official documents can be provided).
  • We will accept test scores (ACT/SAT) off of transcripts. Separate official scores do not need to be provided from the testing service.

Multiple financial programs are available to assist veterans and their dependents in achieving a college education. The Post-9/11 GI Bill will provide educational assistance to individuals who served on active duty on or after September 11, 2001. To see if you qualify under the Post-9/11 GI Bill or any other veteran benefits, please visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Web site.

In addition to the VA benefits, you should also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and obtain more information about educational benefits for veterans at Loyola.
