Distribution Sites and Hours
Pre-printed winter U-Passes should be available at the start of U-Pass Distribution for all new and returning eligibile students who meet the above criteria and have a student ID by October 26th. Students who do not meet the above criteria or do not have a student ID by October 26 will need to have a U-Pass made on-site at the times listed below. If students do not have a pre-printed pass and do not have one made during the times listed below, OR they register late and are not able to have a pass made, they must wait until on or around Friday, November 25 to receive their pass.
2nd Half Winter 2011-2012 Quarter Distribution Dates!!!
Tuesday- Thursday, January 17-19, 2012
2:00PM-5:45PM, Maguire Hall, 2nd Floor, WTC
After January 19, passes can be picked up at the Terry Student Center Information Desk located on the 2nd Floor of 26 E. Pearson (Baumhart Hall). Please have your ID ready to show. CTA will not be on-site taking pictures for this distribution as this is simply an extension of the previous quarter. If you do not have a pre-printed pass available, please contact upass@luc.edu and we will work diligently to get your pass delivered to campus.
How to Receive Your U-Pass After the First Week of School
Students who have a pre-printed U-Pass, but who do not pick up their pass during the distribution times listed above, may pick up their U-Pass at the Terry Student Center Information Desk (2nd Floor of Baumhart Hall) starting Friday, January 20. Qualified students who do not have a pre-printed U-Pass and did not have a pass made while CTA was on-site must wait until the final U-Passes are made. Students will be notified by email when their passes arrive on campus.
After the end of business day November 15, 2011, any student adding classes to full-time status will not be eligible for a U-Pass and will not be assessed the fee; anyone dropping below full-time status after November 15 will not be deactivated for the remainder of the quarter and the charge will not be removed from the student account. Students who picked up a pass, but dropped to part-time status prior to November 15, 2011 will have their U-Pass deactivated and not be assessed the charge.
U-Pass Fee
U-Pass fee is $70 per quarter for Loyola Graduate School of Business students and is included in student tuition fees. This fee is non-refundable.
How It Works
On the Bus:
Insert and remove your U-Pass into the bus fare card machine on the right side of the fare box with the magnetic strip facing you and the blue arrow pointing down. Made sure you don't insert it into the dollar bill slot - it will be captured.
On the Train:
Insert your U-Pass into the turnstile card slot with the magnetic stripe facing you and the blue arrow pointing down. When the green 'enter' light goes on, remove your U-Pass and go through the turnstile.
Rules and Conditions
* The school name, student name, photo, and expiration date must appear on the card.
