Unified Student Government Association

Amanda (Mandy) Keelor

Undesignated Rep.

Dear students:

My name is Amanda (Mandy) Keelor and I am running for the office of an Undesignated Representative. I am interested in serving on USGA because I am passionate about helping others and giving a voice to those who need it. That includes you, the students of Loyola University Chicago. We are a community because we are many who care.

I am a member of the freshman class and an Advocacy and Social Change major. I hope to pursue a career in law or politics and help anyone and everyone from trafficking victims and refugees to citizens of my local city.

I have begun to develop my leadership skills as a tutor and mentor through Chicago Youth Programs and as a member of Loyola’s Leadership Learning Community. I have excellent communication skills and firmly believe that everyone has a story to be heard. I am dedicated, responsible, and hard-working.

However, I need your help. I want Loyola to be everything you and I except to be - and when it’s not, I want you to have faith that your concerns will be addressed. I want Loyola to be the strongest, most interactive community possible between administrative, faculty, and student platforms. I want Loyola to thrive because its community cares and you are one of the many to speak out.

No matter how big or small a concern, I promise to be the person who gives you a voice. Thank you for your consideration.

We are many.

Vote Mandy.
