Jackson Santy

Sophomore Rep.

Students of Loyola: my name is Jackson Corbin Santy (no I am not named after the co-star of High School Musical or the Disney Channel Original Movie Jump In, in fact he might have been named after me). You may know me as “DJ Jack-Daddy” the music mixologist who spins tracks Wednesday mornings on WLUW 88.7, but today I want you to know me as the senator for USGA running for re-election for the 2014-2015 school year, winning your votes—and your hearts. This past year I was fortunate enough to be elected onto USGA and to serve under the Safety and Wellness committee. While serving on the committee, I worked with my cohorts on issues pertaining directly to the well being of students on campus, making sure that they receive their ideal campus experience. I’ve met with Wellness Center employees, officers of campus safety and students themselves, making sure that we provide this university with the resources they need to live happily and healthily during their time here. Some of the initiatives we have taken on and that I hope to continue venturing towards granted my reelection are: smoking, wellness center availabilities, sexual assault prevention and many others on the horizon. I wish to see these ideas and more be turned into legislation with our committee, all I need is your vote.
