Unified Student Government Association

Zahraa Nasser

Chief Justice

I joined USGA this previous year as a member of the “hidden” Judicial Branch and have not regretted the decision once. The Judicial Branch is crucial in the passing of legislation and as an individual who believes in progress—as seen by involvement in several social justice organizations—I believe that my values as well as previous experience on the Judicial branch will help me in serving the student body as Chief Justice. I aim to involve the rest of the Judicial branch in not only the final passing of certain pieces of legislation, but to incorporate the role of the group throughout the entire student body. USGA is an organization that relies on students’ needs and as (hopefully) your future Chief Justice, I will use my familiarity with the governing documents to ensure fairness and constitutionality throughout all proceedings.
