Cooper Carriger

Cooper is a current junior from Overland Park KS. As a student in the College of Arts and Sciences, Cooper is majoring in political science and minoring in both Spanish and education policy. The former Community Chair of USGA, Cooper is excited to return to the organization after a semester abroad in Spain, where he studied comparative government. In addition to his role with USGA, Cooper also works as a Special Events Assistant in the Division of Advancement, the City Manager's Intern for the City of Evanston, and is an active member in his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He has held past positions in the office of Student Activities & Greek Affairs, The College of Arts & Science's Academic Council, the Board of Trustees subcommittee for Advancement, and the dept. of Conference Services. Cooper looks forward to advising and assisting members of USGA at all levels regarding a variety of topics, including legislation, social justice, Jesuit identity, and student engagement.​

The Chief of Staff serves as an advisor to the President regarding the university and current events. The position serves to mentor student government members and works to ensure organization and personal success. The Chief of Staff assists with the Fall Retreat Weekend, the Spring Leadership Weekend and Banquet, and the Fall and Spring elections, as deemed necessary.
