Add a Site Search
If you would like to enable users to search your school, department or organization Website, please e-mail: webmaster@luc.edu. Web Support will work with your site content coordinator to make sure that your site is indexed by the Google Search Appliance and provide the necessary code to add a site search to your site.
Loyola uses the Google Search Appliance to process all search queries. The system can automatically index the information on the www.luc.edu Website.
The Google search tool will index all directories and files that have permissions set for public access and are linked from another page on the Loyola site. To archive a file or directory so it is not searchable, see the "Archiving" section on Publishing Pages @ LUC: General Guidelines.
