A Water Tower Campus tradition, the WTC Welcome Week Block Party kicks off the academic school year with food, music and fun! Featuring Epic Burger, Potbelly, Felice’s, a live band and more! The 5 people sharing the most Block Party posts, or tagging WTC Events in the most posts promoting any Welcome Week event on social media, will win a BLOCK PARTY FAST PASS! The Fast Pass allows the holder to bypass food lines, for express service. Fast Pass winners will be selected at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 26. Back by popular demand: Zip line through the WTC!

The Sorority & Fraternity Life community invites new students to enjoy time and conversations with the community while volunteering their time assembling bagged lunches for the community kitchen of A Just Harvest. Whether you know you want to go Greek or you have no idea what it means, this program will provide you the space to get to know members within the community.

Panhellenic Council Self Defense Class

All women on campus are welcome to attend the Panhellenic Council sponsored Self Defense Class. As organizations founded on supporting women in higher education, the sorority community at Loyola wants to ensure a safe campus environment especially for our newest community members. Comfortable workout clothes and tennis shoes are encouraged for this interactive Self Defense Class, where you will learn basic techniques and tips for safety on campus.
Interfraternity Council Info Session
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) invites you to attend the Fraternity Open House Info Session to learn about joining a fraternity here at Loyola. The 5 IFC chapters will announce their recruitment schedules, and the IFC officers will share important information about what you need to know in order to join. You’ll get a chance to meet the members and start your search for the right brotherhood. First year students are welcome and encouraged to attend this event to learn about how to join. Light refreshments will be provided.
