About
Shenay Bridges, Ph.D. completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and then went on to receive her master’s in counseling at Hampton University and her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University in 2008. She has worked with college students for over five years doing individual, couples, and group therapy. She completed both her internship and post doctoral hours at Illinois State University. Her clinical interests include working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, depression, family and relationship concerns as well as diversity related issues and working with GLBTQ individuals. Shenay is new to the staff, having just joined the Wellness Center team at Loyola University Chicago in August 2010.
