Joanna went to Northwestern Business College where she received her Associates Degree in an Applied Science Medical Assistant program. Joanna graduated with Alpha Beta Gamma honors. In 2003, she completed her AAMA Certification. Joanna has been a Certified Medical Assistant for nine years and has worked in Pediatrics, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Dermatology. Joanna is Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. She was born and raised in Chicago, while her parents are from Puerto Rico. Joanna loves working as a Certified Medical Assistant because she gets to help and care for people. Outside of work, Joanna is a mother of four beautiful children. She enjoys having fun with family, music, movies, dancing, and reading.
