Alissa Eischens, M.P.H., CHES
Alissa Eischens joined the Wellness Center as Health Educator in 2004. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Northwestern University and her Master of Public Health degree in Community Health Education from the University of Minnesota. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist. At Loyola, Alissa provides health education with a special focus on sexual assault/violence prevention and working with first year students. She is also a certified rape crisis counselor and domestic violence advocate. What she enjoys most about her work at Loyola is helping students learn to make healthy choices as well as working toward a safer community for all Loyolans. She also advises the Sexual Assault Awareness Group. Outside of work, Alissa enjoys travel, art, and reading.
