Kathy Fischer, R.N., M.S.N., C.N.P.
Kathy Fischer, a board certified family nurse practitioner and board certified emergency room clinical nurse specialist, has over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Kathy joined the Wellness Center staff in fall 2004. She received her Master's degree in critical care and Postgraduate certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Illinois University. She has worked for several years as a nurse practitioner in a busy private practice. She has spent the majority of her career in a Chicago metropolitan area emergency room. When she's not here, she's on the go with her two college-bound kids and spouse.
