Matthew Hayden is a licensed clinical social worker who joined the Wellness Center team in May 2007. Matthew received undergraduate degrees in music and English from Oberlin College, and a master's in music from the University of Akron, before completing a master's program in social work at the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. Previous experiences include work with college students, refugees, adolescent and adult sexual assault and abuse survivors, women with chronic mental illness, women's health, and Latina and LGBT teen groups. Special clinical interests include trauma therapy, mindfulness and acceptance, and the role of creativity and self-expression in wellness.
