Get Involved

There are many opportunities to get involved with BROAD Magazine! We strive to have a team that represents a broad range of identities; diverse identities of all kinds (race, ethnicity, ability status, sexual orientation, sexual preference, gender expression, gender identity, class/socio-economic status, major in school, age, place of birth, etc), are especially encouraged to apply.

Staff Positions:

Call for Editorial Team Members

BROAD Magazine is a student-run publication, entirely created, managed, and produced by the editorial team members who represent a broad range of identities and skills.

We are currently recruiting interested individuals to fill a number of openings! Individuals with graphic design/technical skills are particularly needed. The application deadline is April 30, 2015. Applications are available on OrgSync.

Visiting Editors/Organizations:

In an effort to consistently offer a broad range of perspectives, opinions, and visions in BROAD Magazine, we frequently invite interested individuals and organizations to serve as Visiting Editors or Visiting Organizations for one issue out of the year. Visiting Editors or Organizations have the opportunity to assist in guiding the content, theme, and aesthetic of a particular issue of the magazine. Click here to view the Visiting Editor Position Description. If you or your organization is interested in serving as a Visiting Editor/ Organization, please email us at broad.luc@gmail.com.

At various times throughout the year, the staff of BROAD Magazine will be looking for columnists to write on a certain theme or topic, or from a certain lens or perspective. Columnists have the opportunity to have their work featured in each issue of the magazine, gaining the valuable experience of being published and sharing their ideas. When available, columnist positions will be posted here.

We also accept proposals for columns at any time! To propose a column, please email the following to broad.luc@gmail.com: a title and subtitle, a 1-2 paragraph summary of your ideas for the column's theme/topic and lens/perspective, and a brief description of how you think this column will fit in with and enhance the magazine.
