Update from the Division of Student Development

In a letter to the Loyola community, Dr. Keith Champagne, Vice President for Student Development, shares exciting steps that the division has taken to fulfill its promise to provide “a transformative student experience … focused on facilitating student engagement, wellbeing, a sense of belonging, and academic success.” Enhancements include organizational redesign, the launch of the Rambler Brotherhood Project, opening the new Wellness Center at the Health Sciences Campus, and the development of new programs and services.

VP's Student Advisory Council

Dr. Champagne, VP for Student Development, invites students to be members of the Student Advisory Council. Time will be devoted to discussing students’ experiences at the university. This Advisory Council will meet 4 times during the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Interested students should apply by May 15.

Excellence Award 2023

Every year, outstanding Ramblers are recognized for their commitments to excellence in exemplifying Loyola's mission and values. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to review information about award criteria and deadlines and to nominate one or more people to be recognized. Awards will be presented at the Excellence Awards Ceremony, which is a signature event within the university-wide Celebration of Students' Achievement, Scholarship, and Creative Works. The 2023 Excellence Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 22. Nomination processes for many awards are now open with deadlines coming soon.
