The Provost’s Office of Academic Diversity remains constantly informed on diversity issues in the division of Academic Affairs, particularly as they relate to faculty and students, researches best practices around those concerns, and weaves those lines of information into policy and programming that can effectively improve the circumstances of diversity in the Academic Affairs realm. As such, work in this office can include, but is not limited to, executing qualitative interviews, providing strategies to diversify faculty hiring, facilitating curriculum development, working with academic leaders on unit specific issues, and supporting essential partners in the Division of Student Development, the Office of Faculty Administration, and the Office of Student Academic Services.
