2020 Research on COVID-19 & Diversity Fellowship

General Information of the Fellowship

EDGE recognizes the need for graduate student involvement in advancing the strategic diversity and inclusion goals at Loyola University Chicago. In an effort to continue contributing to that mission, EDGE awarded two graduate students $400 to conduct online summer research on the relationship between COVID-19 and issues of diversity, equity, or inclusion. This research fellowship supports student efforts to gather data and further their scholarship in a time of social-distancing mandates. All graduate students in good standing with their program, from a wide variety of fields, were eligible to receive an award. The fellowship not only aligns with EDGE's mission but responds to the urgent and essential need for Loyola's graduate student community to contribute to the conversation regarding this global pandemic.
