Survey on Faculty Readiness for Online Classes
March 6, 2020
Given the global concern over the spread of coronavirus and its impact on communities, universities like our own all across the country are beginning to make preparations for the possibility of being unable to conduct in-person classes as a result of this significant public health concern.
While we cannot know or predict the trajectory of the virus’ path, we at Loyola University Chicago are committed to the health, well-being, and safety of our students, faculty, and staff. Therefore, in an abundance of caution and preparedness should a disruption to our regular campus activities occur, we want to have contingencies and alternatives in place for all possible situations.
To this end, we are asking you to complete a survey that will enable us to finalize plans for putting as many courses as possible in an online format in the event that we need to do so.
We appreciate your continued participation and willingness to ensure academic integrity and continuity for our students and community.
Please complete this survey by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11.
With our appreciation,
Jo Beth D’Agostino
