Preparing for Online
Online Orientation sessions take place in August and December (prior to the Fall and Spring semesters) for SCPS students who are enrolled, planning to enroll, or interested in learning more about online classes. This virtual orientation is led by Jeanne Widen, Faculty Director of Online Education at SCPS. Dates for these sessions will be posted on this website.

Through this module, you will identify through self-assessment if online learning is a good fit for your learning style. Additionally, you will have an understanding of the different types of online learning at Loyola University Chicago, as well as selecting an environment that works best for taking an online course.
