About
Charles Schutt teaches Marketing and Consumer Behavior in Loyola University’s School for Continuing and Professional Studies.
He has a BA Theology from Loyola University, Chicago, a Masters of Divinity from the University of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in Mundelein, Illinois and an MBA from the J.L.Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University in Marketing and Organizational Behavior.
He is a member of the Loyola Alumi Association as well as the Kellogg Alumni Association. Charlie also serves as a precinct captain for Alderman Tom Tunney in the 44th ward of Chicago.
Charlie served the Archdiocese of Chicago as a priest for 17 years. In addition to his parish duties he also was a member of the Archdiocesan Office for Evangelization offering seminars, retreats, and missions in the Archdiocese and nationally. After receiving his MBA, Charlie worked for Kuczmarski & Associates, an innovation consulting firm, as an internal consultant for 3 years. In 1997 he joined Lucas Group, a premier mid-market executive recruiting firm where he is currently an Executive Senior Partner placing qualified finance and accounting candidates for positions in Fortune 500 companies in the Chicago area and across the country. In his free time he enjoys working out regularly, dinners in and out, playing the piano, movies, theater, symphony, Chicago sports teams, and discussing and arguing all news, political and religious issues. Charlie is honored to be on the faculty of Loyola’s SCPS returning the favor of the Jesuit education he received in years past.
