Landfill on campus a glimpse into Chicago's past
What’s underneath this grass on Halas Quad, may surprise you: old garbage. Extending across this part of Loyola’s Lake Shore campus is a landfill that contains about 60 tons of trash. Hundreds of artifacts exposed during construction projects have been collected and studied by Anthropology professor Dr. Daniel Amick. Watch Video
