Sesquicentennial Scholars
In 2017, the History department, Center for Textual Studies and Digital Humanities, and the Loyola Libraries submitted a joint proposal to the Office of the President for funding a program to support the Loyola Archives & Special Collections and the Women and Leadership Archives in developing projects to support the upcoming Sesquicentennial. The proposal was approved and the first scholars were hired in the 2018-2019 academic year. Since then, four Sesquicentennial Scholars at the Loyola Archives & Special Collections have collaborated on projects with their counterparts at the Women and Leadership Archives. This grant project was completed in May 2021.
