COVID-19 Updates

The Loyola Archives & Special Collections Reopening Plan Fall 2020 is now available. As with all things relative to the COVID-19 pandemic, these plans are flexible and may change with little or no warning.



The Loyola Archives & Special Collections will be open the following days and hours during the fall semester:

Monday - Wednesday - Friday     8 AM to 3 PM


Restricted Access for Fall 2020

Due to the social distancing polices implemented by Loyola University Chicago, staffing will be limited at the archives. Because of this, the following restrictions will be in place through at least the fall semester.

In-person use of collections will be limited to Loyola faculty members during the fall semester for:

  • selection of items from the collections to be digitized for classes and research

  • recording a lecture/presentation for classes using items from the collections


Appointments are REQUIRED
