Every year, the University’s academic deans recognize a student who has exemplified a commitment to leadership, scholarship, and service throughout their time at Loyola. This year, Jacqueline Plascencia-Perez (Class of 2022) was recognized.
Arrupe College Awarded $1.5 Million Grant from Robert R. McCormick Foundation
This new investment will support student retention and recruitment goals over the next three years and will allow Loyola to invest in a pilot housing program, hire new staff focused on student success and retention, and further develop the Black Men for Success program.
As we reflect on the moments of consolation and desolation that this pandemic has brought, we're also reminded that this is a time of celebration for our Arrupe alumni; whether they completed their bachelor's degree this spring, or are working amidst this challenging moment, we want to congratulate all of our alums on a job well done!

Grant Thornton Launches Apprenticeship Program for Arrupe College Students
During the summer of 2016, Vincent Tomkinson, Managing Partner of the Midwest Region for Grant Thornton, LLP, and Quinlan School of Business Dean Kevin Stevens began speaking about creating an apprenticeship program for Arrupe College business students interested in pursuing a career in accounting and a B.B.A. from the Quinlan School of Business.
