Caitlin Lanigan - Baumhart Scholar
Caitlin is an Executive Director at CCS Fundraising, a strategic fundraising firm that partners with nonprofits for transformational change. In her role Caitlin works with CCS’s nonprofit clients to develop and implement fundraising initiatives to meet strategic goals and accelerate impact. At present, Caitlin manages a $300 million campaign for an international service organization addressing humanitarian needs in more than 200 countries around the world. She is passionate about how fundraising and innovative partnerships can address critical issues of our time, including international development, homelessness, and mental health.
Previously, Caitlin served in development and program management roles with the catholic church in the Archdiocese of Seattle and the Diocese of Madison. Service has been at the core of her career since her time as a Jesuit Volunteer serving the homeless in Seattle. Since moving back to Chicago, Caitlin has joined the Rush University Medical Center Associate Board and serves as an Arrupe College Career Mentor.
As a Baumhart Scholar at Loyola University Chicago, Caitlin will be continuing her Jesuit education which began at St. Ignatius College Prep and continued at the College of the Holy Cross, where Caitlin earned a bachelor’s degree.
