Ivy Tzur - Baumhart Scholar
Ivy serves as a Corporate Responsibility & Communications Specialist at Civil Agents, a visual communications agency that works with clients across sectors to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency. She is responsible for creating initiatives and communication strategies that engage key stakeholders in the company’s resource management practices. Ivy also assists clients with establishing achievable and measurable CSR goals that can be tracked and integrated into a well-organized framework for reporting purposes.
Previously, Ivy was the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Chicago Ideas, a non-profit with a mission to make visionary ideas accessible to a wide audience. In this role, Ivy was responsible for building and managing partnerships with both corporate and community partners to showcase their impact and activate their constituents in meaningful ways. Prior to Chicago Ideas, Ivy worked as an urban planner in Vancouver, New York City and San Francisco on numerous community development projects.
Ivy received her bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College, and her Master’s in Urban Planning from the University of British Columbia. She volunteers her time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the Cook County foster care system, and she facilitates environmental service projects in her community as a Chicago Conservation Corp (C3) Leader.
