Lisamarie Lukas - Baumhart Scholar


Lisamarie recently joined global consulting firm, Protiviti, as Director of Global Communications. She is an accomplished marketing communications executive with more than 25 years of professional experience as a leader and team player guiding complex organizations through brand growth and evolution, culture change, and business transformation. Lisamarie has a diverse range of experiences in various sectors such as financial services, consulting, healthcare, higher education, and national nonprofits with an international reach.

In her most recent corporate role, Lisamarie was VP of Corporate Communications for the Options Clearing Corporation, the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing organization. With her team of communications and program management professionals she partnered with executives on employee engagement, brand development, and enhanced the coordination between public relations and internal communications. Prior to joining OCC, she was the Head of Reputation Management at the American Osteopathic Association and served as an Executive and Internal Communications Leader for Grant Thornton. In addition, Lisamarie founded Elle Communications in 2003, where she has worked closely with select organizations to advance initiatives addressing strategy communications, diversity and inclusion, executive positioning, and organizational change.

Lisamarie’s areas of expertise are in brand and corporate communications, stakeholder relations, culture change, business development and philanthropy. Her most recent volunteer roles include Board of Directors, Urban Gateways, Marketing Advisory Board member for The Morton Arboretum, and as a mentor to Black and Brown women preparing to enter universities as first-generation college students.

Lisamarie received a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational and Industrial Psychology from DePaul University, a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism and holds a certificate in Strategic Leadership from Loyola University.
