Margaret is an accomplished corporate social responsibility leader, relationship builder, and cause-driven communicator. Her experience in public relations and the nonprofit sector informs her current work defining and shaping a new purpose-driven agenda for a portfolio of iconic brands as the community engagement and social impact leader for Morton Salt and its affiliate companies across North and South America. Her responsibilities include corporate philanthropy, cause marketing, volunteer programs, and employee engagement.

Prior to joining Morton Salt, Margaret spent nearly seven years developing corporate partnership and sponsorship programs for some of the nation’s leading cultural and research institutions, including Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts and The Field Museum in Chicago. She began her career at RF|Binder Partners, an integrated communications and consulting firm, where she represented clients in financial services, retail, and technology.

Margaret joins the Baumhart Scholars program as a working parent and mother to Cecilia, and is excited to teach her daughter that no dream is out of reach.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Boston University.
