Senior Director of DEI, United Scrap Metal

Kim Reddington is the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at United Scrap Metal. Kim’s 16-year career voyage with United Scrap Metal has resulted in her development as an instrumental figure in the company's geographic and profitable revenue growth, thus, evolving it into one of the largest privately-owned metal recycling businesses in the U.S.  Along the way, she has built strategic partnerships with national printers and positioned United Scrap Metal as the top aluminum lithographic recycler in the country. During her tenure as Sales Leader, Kim created the account management model and team responsible for customer retention. Currently, Kim’s focus is on fostering new opportunities with companies who find value in partnering with minority-and-women-owned businesses. She is also leading the formalization of United’s DE&I program to fulfill our mission of making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Kim is a board member of Women In Manufacturing Illinois Chapter. She also holds a board position on the International Newspaper Group and is a committee chairperson for The Ronald McDonald House of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Married with three young children, Kim resides in the Chicagoland area.
