The Young Nonprofit Leaders Series (YNLS) is a six-week, online learning experience designed to equip early and emerging nonprofit professionals with the knowledge to develop their careers and accelerate their impact. The series features exclusive lectures and panels featuring accomplished and rising leaders, including Loyola’s Baumhart Scholars.

The program will take place weekly on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. CDT from September 21 through October 26 and will focus on six leadership themes:

  • Strategic Nonprofit Leadership (September 21)
  • Harnessing the Power of Partnership (September 28)
  • Advancing Economic and Community Development (October 5)
  • Driving Equity in Education (October 12)
  • Fundraising in Uncertain Times (October 19)
  • My Pathway to Impact (October 26)

The opportunity to join the series is by application only and candidates must apply by September 4, 2020.

An online application will be available soon.

Note: Space is limited. Applicants will be notified if accepted.

YNLS is seeking young nonprofit professionals who aspire to hold leadership roles in the social sector. We anticipate most participants will be under 35 years of age and have less than 10 years of experience in the sector.

The program will take place weekly on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. CDT from September 21 through October 26. There will also be weekly reading assignments and two virtual networking opportunities where participants will have an opportunity to have “brain dates” with other participants.

The cost of YNLS is $50.

Note: The Baumhart Center is pleased to offer scholarships to candidates who need financial assistance in order to participate in the program.
