Margaret Ross Kraft, PhD, RN
The Loyola University Chicago community mourns the death of Margaret “Peg” Ross Kraft, PhD, RN, assistant professor in the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
Peg was a beloved nursing faculty member for the past 12 years, primarily teaching in the graduate and undergraduate Health Systems Management programs. She earned her PhD in nursing from Loyola in 2003 and attended the John Felice Rome Center in spring 2006. Prior to joining Loyola, Peg served as an assistant director of nursing at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Center, administrator of the Community Convalescent Center, and administrator at Edward Hines VA Hospital, where she served a 21-year tenure. She will be dearly missed by the faculty, staff, and students of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
Services have already been held. Donations in her memory can be made to the Foundation for Women's Cancer (230 W. Monroe St., Suite 2528, Chicago, IL 60606).
