*BIOL 470. Biostatistics (lecture and lab) and *BIOL 500 are offered every other year.

**University-funded students must take BIOL 511 twice (4 credit hours). Grant-funded or externally-funded students take BIOL 511 once (2 credit hours).

Formal didactic electives = 9–15 hours; total courses = 30 credit hours.
