Caroline Spikner

Hillel Engagement Coordinator

Damen 221

As a Jewish Life Associate for Metro Chicago Hillel, Caroline has the pleasure of working with the incredible community at Loyola, providing programming for Jewish students as well as any student interested in exploring and learning about Judaism. Hillel (the Jewish Life space) is a place for holiday celebrations, social gatherings, Jewish learning and opportunities for volunteering and social justice.

Caroline was raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan and spent half of her high school years in Salt Lake City, Utah. She studied film and dance at Northwestern University, then spent her first post-grad year teaching English in Beer Sheva, Israel as a volunteer with Masa Israel Teaching Fellows. She is so excited to be back in the Chicagoland area and grateful to be surrounded by the incredible students and staff at Metro Chicago Hillel and Loyola Campus Ministry. Having grown up in an interracial, interfaith, Montessori-powered, art-loving family, Caroline has been talking about diversity and inclusion for as long as she can remember, and she is so excited to bring those passions to her work on campus.
