Claire Soupene
Water Tower Campus Minister Agape Latte Terry Student Center, Suite 301C 312.915.6467 |
Claire Soupene is the Water Tower Campus Minister at Loyola University Chicago. In this role, she coordinates the Theology of Healing Earth in Action (THEA) Institute for high school students as well as Agape Latte, a monthly speaker series on life, love, and faith, while actively contributing to the student life experience at the Water Tower Campus.
Claire is a Loyola alum where she received her B.A. in Theology and English. Since then, she has been involved in a variety of professional fields. She completed a year of full time service with Mercy Volunteer Corps, working in immigration in the South Bronx, and worked at Cristo Rey New York High School, before completing her M.A. in Theology and Ministry at Boston College. During her time there, Claire coordinated Appa Volunteers, the college’s spring break service immersion program. She carries these experiences with her as she works with the students of Loyola.
Claire is a New Yorker at heart and will be happy to talk your ear off about why it’s the best. She loves exploring independent bookstores, spending time with friends near and far, and baking everything from pie to macarons (which she hasn’t quite gotten right yet). She’s passionate about mental health, social justice, and finding the perfect GIF for every situation.
