Sara Woody is a campus pastor with Agape + Ecclesia, an interdenominational Christian ministry at Loyola.

While originally from DC, Sara spent the majority of her life in the South, growing up in Charlotte, graduating from the University of South Carolina, and working in Athens, Georgia before moving to Chicago in January 2017. 

Her undergraduate degree is in Spanish and Psychology, and she is currently pursuing an M.A of Restorative Justice at North Park Theological Seminary. She is passionate about prison abolition, contemplative practices as forms of resistance, the transformative power of Scripture, and helping make space for college students to wrestle with spiritual questions. Oh, and Taylor Swift.

In her off time, you’ll find her reading endless books, biking along the lake front, editing her pop culture + justice podcast, and eating delicious food with her partner, Justin, and her baby boy, Dante!
