Theology of Healing Earth in Action Institute
As T.H.E.A. Coordinator, Virginia manages the T.H.E.A. Institute (Theology of Healing Earth in Action), whose purpose is to engage high school students in Catholic theology and Ignatian spirituality so that they might act as socially just leaders who care for creation in their local communities and the world. She also helps with the retreats and outreach to multicultural and religiously diverse student organizations on campus.
Virginia is from Cleveland, Ohio (Go Cavs!). She received her B.A. in Communications and Spanish from John Carroll University. After graduation, she moved to Chicago to do a year of service with Amate House and then went on to receive her M.A. in Social Justice and Community Development from Loyola University Chicago.
