Loyola Gives 2018 | Sponsored by Campus Ministry
Loyola Gives is the annual Loyola University Chicago holiday giving program. In partnership with the Catholic Charities Sponsor-A-Family program, Loyola Gives supports families in need by purchasing much needed items for the holiday season.
Participating departments, offices or groups will designate a contact person, decide how much money they can contribute and will receive the “wish list” of a local family in need. Please plan to spend about $100 per person (groups that can contribute $400 will receive a family of 4 or $200 will receive a family of 2). The department will shop for the family and drop off all gifts on the collection day on each campus:
Water Tower Campus: Tuesday, December 4, 12-2 p.m., Baumhart Hall, Terry Student Center Lobby
Health Sciences Campus: Wednesday, December 5, 12-2 p.m., Cuneo Center, Room 270
Lake Shore Campus: Thursday, December 6, 12-2 p.m., Damen Student Center Atrium
If you would like to participate, please email Allison Loecke at email@example.com by Tuesday, October 23rd.

Thank you in advance for your support of this program!
We receive letters of appreciation from some of the families, one particular family wrote:
“It’s so hard to find a few words to tell you how deeply you touched me and my family. I felt like the Character “George” in the movie “It’s A Wonderful Life.” We are very thankful to God for people like yourself who were willing to share with us the true meaning of Christmas spirit. When my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told her a good dinner and good health. She kept insisting that I tell her so I told her what I needed not what I wanted, to make her happy. It has been awhile for my family since we had a good Christmas with presents. It has been my son’s first good Christmas and it gives us hope. You are amazing and all we can do is offer you a prayer every Sunday at Mass. We pray that God keep you safe and in good health, so that you can continue giving people like us hope. God Bless, Maria, Javier and Angel.
