Welcoming LGBT Catholics into their Own Church

Fr. James Martin, S.J. is an American Jesuit priest, a writer, and editor-at-large of the Jesuit magazine America. He will present a lecture to the Loyola University Chicago community on:

The topic will be "Building a Bridge: Welcoming LGBT Catholics into their Own Church."

  • The lecture is open to Loyola University students, faculty, and staff. Seating is limited.
  • Due to the noon Mass in Madonna della Strada Chapel, seating for the lecture will begin at 12:35 p.m.

Prior to the lecture, Loyola students are invited to a free pizza luncheon with Fr. Martin in McCormick Lounge, 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Sponsored by Campus Ministry, the Loyola University Jesuit Community, Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, and the Institute of Pastoral Studies.
