CLC Canned Food Drive

The CLC Canned Food Drive is an annual tradition at Loyola dating back over a decade. Loyola Students spend a Saturday morning collecting canned foods for a local partner. This year's beneficiary is Loyola neighbor St. Ignatius Food Pantry. The canned goods donated by our neighbors in Rogers Park and Rogersedge and collected by our students help stock the shelves as the busy holiday season approaches.

If you live in Rogers Park (between Pratt on the north, Clark on the west, and Devon on the south) or Rogersedge (in the "Edgewater Neighbors North" area), Loyola students will be picking up donations on the day of the canned food drive.  On Saturday, November 2 between 10 AM-12 PM, Loyola students will be coming by to ask for donations.  If you will not be home, please leave your donated food in bags/boxes outside your front door by 9am.

You can also donate to this food drive online through the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Thanks to the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s buying power where $1 buys 3 meals, you can make your money go further.

Attention Loyola Community Members – Want to get involved with the Canned Food Drive?

Please click here to RSVP and let us know you plan to come
(we want to plan for the right amount of food and not waste any, especially for this event!).
