Student Employment and Work-Study
Student Employment/Federal Work-Study spans two campuses, 450 campus offices, and 80 Community-based organizations. Student employees earn anywhere from $13 to $16 per hour for positions located in Chicago and $8.25 to $16 for positions that are located outside of Chicago. Wages are based on the required skill level of the position.
There are orientations about the program throughout the fall semester, drop-in hours with Career Services, and Career Development Advisors ready to answer your questions and assist you. Student Employees must apply for their positions in a competitive process that mirrors a post-graduate job search process, so meeting with a Career Development Advisor is a great start!
